Own reporter: In the village of Durgapur Uttar Sarufaud of Kanaighat Barachatul Union, there has been a massive waterlogging due to the construction of a government-funded earthen road without any drainage system. As a result, more than 50 families living on the west side of the road have been stranded and are suffering. Due to the lack of any drainage system, when it rains, many people's courtyards, ponds and latrines are submerged in water.
